Enschedé IT & Consultancy) Amsterdam – The Vereniging Sociale Verhuurders Haaglanden (SVH, Housing Association Haaglanden) has chosen Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy (JE IT&C) for the development of a new website for Woonnet Haaglanden on which the supply of council houses in the region of Haaglanden (The Hague) is made available. Earlier, JE IT&C developed a similar website for Woonnet Rijnmond (Rotterdam and its environs) for the allocation in its region. With the redevelopment of the website the SVH wants to improve the match between supply and demand. An improved user friendly interface on the website and a larger number of func-tionalities for the house-hunter will be, amongst other things, the result of this project. The web application will be linked directly to the housing associations back office system called Woon Matching Systeem (WMS, House Matching System) from NCCW. SVH choose Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy as the supplier after an intensive selection process. The implementation JE IT&C developed earlier for the region of Rijnmond was also equipped with a link to the external WMS. Registrations and feedback are verified and ex-changed in real-time with the back office system. By using Adobe Flex technology JE IT&C offers an “enriched supply of houses” to the user. The house-hunter is able to riffle through the list of for him or her suitable houses directly after filling in a number of direct parameters or searching Google Maps.
