Joh. Enschedé IT & Consultancy on the Adobe MAX

Milan - ‘Show, don’t tell’, could be the credo of the Adobe MAX event. On MAX 2008 a tip of the veil is reveiled on the future of digital experiences. Designers can learn more about the art and science of design on and for differente media. Developers can broaden their knowledge on architecture, developing and using the newest technology in web-, mobile-, enterprise- and rich internetapplications. More than 120 sessions were available during the event, which was attended by over 1300 visitors.

Adobe MAX is the most important industry forum for designers, developers and decision makers dealing with creation and delivery of rich and compelling user experiences for different media and devices. Following the US version in San Francisco the event started off on December 1th at the Milano Convention Center, providing three days of roadmaps, workshops and sessions presented on and about the Adobe products and new exciting projects in Rich media, design and the Internet.

The roadmaps of Adobe circled around three key trends and developments: Cloud & Computing, Social Computing and Desktop & Devices. Exciting new developments from the Adobe product portfolio included the launch of Gumbo - the new generation of Adobe Flex 4, Flash Catalyst - a new application that should be closing the gap between designers and developers and Adobe Cocomo - for the use of Social Network functionality within Flex applications.

This year Joh. Enschede IT & Consultancy was sponsor once again and presented itself at the community Pavilion as an Emerging Sponsor. On the second day Michael Sgaïer gave a presentation in one of the sessions on using InDesign Server to support an automated publication workflow using the JEA PLUS2 publication. On the final day JE IT&C prensent a joint session with Adobe on the Adobe Solutions Catalogue 2009 / 2010. This catalogue with leading solutions from more than 250 European Adobe partners was promoted during the event and will be issued early next year and also be launched as a website.
