The Raad voor de Rechtspraak manages standardised printed communications using
a system from Joh. Enschedé. This results in
large cost savings.
Requirement
The Raad voor de Rechtspraak wanted to extend and manage its corporate identity uniformly, while also being able to make modifications easily and quickly. Hiring in a design agency is expensive. The company therefore asked Joh. Enschedé for a solution that represented cost savings for each court of law and was capable of being used at individual locations.
Aanpak
Joh. Enschedé developed an online solution for communication and publication management using JEA PLUS Publish. As a basis we made the easy to create corporate identity guide. Every user always works with the most up-to-date version. In addition to this there is a logo and image bank which contains all administrative logos in various file formats. These are used by the online databank to support every conceivable means of communication, from business cards to multimedia presentations.
Result
The major advantage of the new system is the enormous saving in production costs. Corporate identity items no longer have to created externally and print-related ordering procedures also provide many savings. The design tool is the heart of the application and supports the creation of set corporate identity layouts that are strongly standardised by JEA.
Jeroen Albers, Consultant at Joh. Enschedé explains: ‘You select the correct logo for a business card for example, type in the name of the person and are then able to save the card to file. Afterwards the buyer can process the order. He can subsequently manage his orders online.’
In the platform authorisation is defined by function. This enables the communication manager of a court of law to use the design tool, and with that make use of elements from the logo and image bank. A buyer, for example, has access to the ordering functions in this environment.
